David Craig is a visionary and works tirelessly to push the boundaries of his development projects. The proud son of a retired Air Force colonel, David learned the value of hard work and dedication at a very young age. He founded Craig International, a commercial brokerage and development company 42 years ago in McKinney, Texas and the company has grown to control and/or develop more than 10,000 acres in Collin and Grayson Counties since it was founded.

David’s motivation and passion are evidenced by the success of Craig Ranch, a McKinney, Texas award-winning master-planned community that he started developing with his partners 22 years ago. It now has a current ad valorem value of more than $5 billion. He began with 1,125 acres of farmland and it is now a thriving, 2,200-acre community with commercial, residential, and mixed-use retail anchored by the TPC Craig Ranch, which is the new home of the AT&T Byron Nelson Classic. David is the Chairman of the Board of Governors of TPC Craig Ranch and is Chairman of the TPC Craig Ranch Host Committee for the AT&T Byron Nelson.

Craig Ranch knows no limits and the development has always been on the cutting edge, way before New Urbanism was embraced. David’s vision has been realized in the 500 acres of parks and green space and the 270-acre employment district, McKinney Corporate Center Craig Ranch, which is currently the home of 700,000 square feet of office and just completed an additional 500,000 square feet of office. It’s anticipated there will be an additional 1.5 million square feet in the corporate center. One of David’s current projects is District 121, a destination retail, corporate, hospitality and restaurant development adjacent to Craig Ranch. The $250 million mixed-use development, located on the northeast corner of State Highway 121 and Alma Road, is on track to open its first restaurants in Spring of 2023.

Most recently, David was honored with being named as one of D CEO’s 500 most influential leaders in Dallas Fort Worth. In addition, David was the recipient of the Spirit of McKinney Moving Forward award in 2021.

His passion for business carries over to many cause-related issues. Craig International supports The Boys and Girls Club of America – Collin County, The Family Place, Habitat for Humanity Collin County, The Samaritan Inn, Smiles Charity, Love Life Foundation, and American Heart Association, to name a few.

Industry veteran Miles Prestemon joined Craig Ranch in 2008 and oversees all development direction, implementation, and managing of the residential and commercial components of Craig Ranch, a 2,200-acre mixed-use development in McKinney, Texas. Miles previously served as senior vice president of operations for Newland Communities where he oversaw the development of Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney, a 5,000-acre community that is one of the most successful master-planned communities in the country.

While he was with Newland, Miles also coordinated the redevelopment plan for Texas Stadium in Irving. His leadership experience also includes serving as Dallas-Fort Worth vice president for Terrabrook and vice president of land acquisition/development for Kaufman & Broad.

During the 1980s, Mr. Prestemon was a professional golfer. He is a member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and Dallas Builders Association. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota in 1978.

According to James Craig, he has the best job in the world. It offers the ability to meet and interact with new people daily and allows him to establish long-lasting relationships, a practice that James puts great emphasis on.

James is also a licensed real estate broker and responsible for the acquisition and disposition of commercial and residential land, as well as income producing assets. A big part of what James does is connect people with one another and surround them with the tools needed to be successful.

Born and raised in Collin County, the area holds a special place in James’ heart. He grew up immersed in the business and says real estate has always been a big part of his life. He’s a firm believer that if you are a good steward of the land, the land will be good to you, which in effect provides good stewardship to your community. James currently serves on the McKinney Chamber Board of Directors and is also a member of the McKinney Development Committee. When James isn’t in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Sabrina, have three sons: James (IV), Carter and Weston.

As a problem solver and solutionist, Gerry oversees and guides general contractors through the various phases of multiple construction projects in coordination with architects, engineers, and inspectors. Gerry’s passion is identifying, managing, and solving the vast array of day-to-day problems that would otherwise be a distraction to the executive decision makers within the organization.

Gerry’s background provides him with a unique skill set that allows him to perform at high levels across an array of different tasks and projects. Prior to his current position he served eight years on the Craig Ranch development team managing countless large and small projects and 10 years as the director of maintenance at three mega master-planned communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. But, before entering the civilian workforce, Gerry was honored to serve over two decades in the U.S. Army in demanding executive and command positions before retiring.

Gerry holds a BA in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, The Armed Forces Staff College, The Army Computer Science School and holds a certificate in Construction Project Management. In his spare time, Gerry enjoys tinkering with his cars and RVing with his wife and dogs.
